VisionAll students and staff will feel valued, connected, and hopeful.
MissionProvide a balanced approach between leadership, education, and concern for the person. Students and staff are both seen and heard, and they are guided from where they are on a social, emotional, and educational level to achieve their maximum potential.
Growth PlanThis school year has presented a number of growth opportunities. My focus for this year has been supporting students and fellow staff with COVID challenges, teaching a new grade, mentoring a student teacher, actively participating in the Women in Leadership committee, as well as maintaining my own physical and mental health.
For the school year of 2019-2020 I was focused on developing leadership skills through the Aspiring Leaders Program offered by Wolf Creek Public School's People Services Department. During the school year of 2018-2019 I was completing my Masters of Education in Leadership as well as learning about First Nation, Metis and Inuit cultural struggles and concerns through a video series named First Contact. In addition, I had a student teacher from the Middle Years program at Red Deer College. |
